Sikkim - Sikkim - Land of mystic splendour

Sikkim is a small Himalayan state. It was a kingdom before its annexation to India in the year 1964. The state has four districts north, south, east and west. Tourism is the most important activity in the state with thousands of visitors coming to Sikkim every year. The major tourist destinations of Sikkim include Pelling, Gangtok, Ravangla and North Sikkim.

Weather of Sikkim

The weather in Sikkim is mostly cold. It is a welcome break from the heat and dust of the plains. The temperature varies widely from 15-20 degrees in most of the south and east district to sub zero temperature in many parts of north sikkim
